Blog #64 Trump and America Win

Finally, it is over. Trump won. Harris lost.

Harris spent $1.4 Billion on her campaign and ended $20 Million in DEBT, while Trump spent half that and no debt. Still, he won in an unmitigated, incontestable landslide, capping off the biggest comeback in American political history. He needed 270 Electoral votes to win and as of this writing, 11/07/2024, he racked up 295.

Everyone in the media, if not politicians, academia, and celebrities, is obsessed with the whole situation, or more accurately described as a debacle for the Democrats and a breathtaking win for Trump.

Harris’ efforts will be dissected in dozens of ways to identify why she lost. Was it primarily the economy, immigration, crime, or culture change? The list must include everything from Afghanistan and Israel to Gender Identity and DEI. Most anyone could fill a page listing the problems as I have done in earlier articles (Blogs #51-64).

Important were the incessant demonizing and fearmongering charges by Harris and the Democrats that Trump was evil, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, racist, misogynist, homophobic, in addition to being a convicted felon, tax evader, sexist, agent of Russia, mentally unstable, a liar, dictator, tyrant, and more. The Main Media relentlessly echoed the sentiment that Trump was a walking devil who would put millions in detention camps.

Then you have Trump, with his foul mouth and ego-centric nonsense, who positioned himself in the campaign by opposing all the actions of both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. It was simpler for Trump because he would sharpen his focus on their “stupid and crazy” decisions with open borders, inflation, crime, the economy, and much more that appealed to the working class.

No matter your political beliefs, one has to admire the fortitude, resilience, and fighting spirit of Trump, who endured over eight years of egregious political persecution, including the Russia Hoax, Hillary’s Dossier, two Impeachments, lawfare with a dozen lawsuits, several were obviously without substance, a continuing stream of false accusations, fake charges, defamation, and insulting cruelty to him and his family that has cost him millions of dollars. He took it all in stride, stayed focused, and, with incredible energy, fought back over the years to achieve a level of success we have not seen for more than a century.

After the assassination attempt and his injury, his immediate response was, “Fight, fight, fight!” Most anyone could see his courageous, patriotic, and firm conviction as an American and a politician.

On the other hand, rather than list all the concerns/issues/platform topics, I sense that Harris lost for a simple reason. It was the lack of common sense.

Yes, the economy and inflation was a crippling effect, and no one could accept a flood of unvetted migrants without even requiring an ID, a Covid shot, or speaking English. The belief that the sole purpose for such insanity was to turn them into democrats to alter the demographic balance and secure them as government dependents to support a One-Party System.

I may be a simpleton, but people know when you are buying votes with their money. Biden/Harris Federal Budget will be $2 Trillion in debt for 2024. The contribution to the national debt will be over $5 trillion during their term, higher than Trump, who was doing a relatively poor job until he got slammed with COVID-19 when it got worse, which changed everything worldwide.

Giving forgiveness to college graduates on their loans is simply unfair to the working class but a symbol of success for the elites and academia.

But it doesn’t stop there. For starters, treating parents like terrorists, identity politics, and allowing gender changes in children while not believing parents should be advised of a child’s gender concerns. Feelings run deep about having transexual men playing against girls in athletics. Consider the forced language changes to respect the subjective use of pronouns. Mandatory classes for the military in each service that is focused on Woke, DEI, and CRT do not make it combat-ready. Climate change will be solved by the use of wind/solar/EVs. Oil and gas must be removed from use immediately. Inflation is transitory and not a big concern. We can solve problems with new tax and spending ideas. Stealing items in stores with a value under $1,000 was viewed as a misdemeanor instead of a felony. And the list goes on.

The examples are too much for this article. However, the common theme is that none make much common sense to implement. Most are counter-productive and hurt Americans.

The good thing about all this is that it is easy to correct under Trump’s term. His priorities will likely be:

— Close the border. Enforce and increase legal immigration. He has done it before with an Executive Order (EO); He will work to get Congress to pass a viable immigration bill.

— Identify, imprison, or deport all illegals who have a criminal background or commit a crime. The numbers include several hundred thousand plus over 10,000 convicted murderers, which will take a long time to implement.

— Regarding Energy: use EO’s to Frack! Drill! for oil and gas, approve pipelines and energy plants, including new small or modular nuclear reactors.

— Name the Mexican Cartels as terrorist organizations and seize their money. Leverage the Mexican government to kill the Cartels and stop fentanyl/drug/sex trafficking.

— Organize his cabinet with executives like Elon Musk, who will be tasked to create a plan drastically cutting the Federal bureaucracy. Some believe he could eliminate or consolidate entire departments and agencies. Target a $2 Trillion reduction in the Federal annual budget.

— Trump will clean house regarding the politicization of the DOJ/FBI/CIA/IRS and other bureaucratic agencies.

— End Woke/DEI training focusing on the military, schools, and elsewhere in our society.

— Issue tariffs on our major trading countries who have onerous tariffs against us and our support manufacturing.

— Implement a new strategy for Israel and Iran while supporting the war against Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthis.

— Negotiate an end to the Ukraine War (a war that has caused over 600,000 Russian casualties, over 150,000 Ukrainian casualties, and more than 50,000 civilians).

— End the $500 Million Federal funding of Planned Parenthood and abortions. He will not seek a national abortion ban.

In the end, Harris was a terrible candidate, unprepared for seeking the office of the presidency, without defined policies that make common sense, and who did not show leadership or the ability to solve problems rather than give empty platitudes wrapped in word salads, while considered a failure as the Border Czar and a member of the failed Biden Administration. Worse, she could not think of any changes she would make over the past 4 years.

Trump is a crass, brutally frank personality who is a leader, will be respected by our allies and feared by our enemies as an unpredictable character, will bring back manufacturing using tariffs as a hammer as needed, and will stop illegal immigration while turning the tide against criminals across the USA, especially gangs. He led a breathtaking realignment of the political parties: Republicans represent the working class, minorities, more efficient, smaller government; Democrats represent the elites, billionaires, Wall Street, and welfare/social cases requiring big government.

Republicans represent anti-crime and rule-of-law policies, while Democrats pursue social justice, criminals-are-victims ideas.

The result of this election proves that northeast, western, and coastal elites are completely out of touch with the issues and needs of all Americans. Rural communities, even suburban towns, and the working class demonstrated dissatisfaction with a poor-performing economy, a massive invasion of illegals receiving free stuff at taxpayer expense, and the current left-liberal, progressive ideologies of the Democratic Party. It resulted in the intrinsic belief that our culture was changing too dramatically and was leading down a socialist path that may be irreversible.

We are a meritocracy and must retain our pioneering, risk-taking, innovative, can-do spirit. CRT actually reversed real progress regarding racism in our society. DEI and Woke policies were very debilitating to our spirit and common sense and was nothing more than legal discrimination. Worse, we must not continue enabling more than half the country to rely on the government for support through welfare, free money, social programs, and other free stuff. Instead, the government should incentivize growth, risk, family unity, and self-reliance.

We Trust in Trump!
