It’s about taking risks, seeking challenges, desiring to learn, and creating teamwork.
For 25 years I helped coordinate annual trips to experience adventure during Labor Day extended weekends. My friends were former military, work associates, and family. We hiked mountains over many western US States, Canada, and Switzerland, including many National parks. In Colorado alone, I climbed to the top of 18 “Fourteen Thousand Foot Plus Mountains”, called “14ers”. These are 12-15 hour grueling hikes up 3,000 to 4,500 vertical feet and 5-14 miles.
